반기문 총장님은 나의 멘토~~

어느날 우연히 접한 반기문 총장님의 책..."반기문 총장님처럼 되고 싶어요"

평범했던 시골소년 반기문...그가 꿈꾸며 열정과 무한한 노력으로 학창시절을 보낸 이야기

그리고 결국 이뤄낸 꿈이야기..

나의 가슴속에서는 꿈이란 단어로 뜨거워졌고 또한 그를 존경하게되었다.

5살때부터 꿈이 뭐냐고 물으면 치과의사가 되서 이를 안아프게 치료해주고 싶다고 생각했던

나의 첫 꿈을 이 한권의 책을 읽으며 나라를 대표하는 훌륭한 외교관이 되어 개인적인 영광뿐아니라

나라에도 이익을 줄수 있는 외교관이 되고 싶다는 꿈을 가지게되면서

나의 초등학교 6년간 학교생활에 커다란 지침이 되었던것 같고 공부하기 싫을때마다 목표를 생각하며

힘을 내게해주던 나의 멘토~~나의 영웅..반기문 총장님!!!

 

학교에서 프리젠테이션 행사가 있어서 역시 반기문유엔사무총장님에 대한 이야기를 발표했다.

 

 

 

I was born in Chungcheongbuk-Do, Eumseong-gun on June 13th 1944.

I  graduated from Chung-ju High School.

When I  was young, I loved to study English. I read English newspapers and magazinges that

I received from the American soldiers.

 

One of the most important experiences in my life was going to the United States and atterding an

American high school.

I even meet the president of the United States at the White House, John F. Kennedy.

 

I realized that most Americans didn't know much about Korea.

So, I decided to become a Korean diplomat, so i could teach the people about Korea and their culture.

 

I graduated from Seoul Univeisity and passed the Foreign Service examination.

Our family was not wealthy. but we were always happy and dependent on each other.

We moved th India where I worked hard.

 

While there, I was promoted to Secretary of the Austrian embassy.

The highlight of my career was being elected the UN Secretary General on October 3rd, 2006.

 

I am Ban Ki Moon, the 8th UN Secreatary General, and now you know the rest of the story.
